Chilled Sweetcorn Soup withAvocado: Fresh sweetcorn soup,chilled,served with a homemade salsa of avocado,chilli lime,coriander and toasted sesame seeds

Cod Goujons with Tartare Sauce: Fresh cod coated in a sweet paprika Parmesan crumb, deep fried, served with tartare sauce and side salad

Broad Bean Tomato and Feta Tart: Shortcrust tartlets filled with crumbled feta,broad beans,cherry tomatoes,eggs and double cream.Finished with sprinkle of basil, served with side salad and chutney

Chicken Liver Pate with Pastachios: Homemade liver pate with roasted pistachios wrapped in Proscuitto served with toast, chutney and side salad

Lamb Cutlets with Redcurrant Jus: Devonshire lamb cutlets marinated in garlic,rosemary and olive oil,pan fried,served with a red wine,red currant jus

Salmon and Asparagus: Fresh salmon fillet wrapped in pancetta(can be omitted)baked on a bed of asparagus with a sprinkling of of anchovy ciabatta crumb, served with a lemon,dill and horseradish sauce

I have eaten here several times as part of a large group. The food is delicious and always imaginative combinations of locally sourced ingredients. They are very accommodating of special dietary requirements with prior notice. This is one of my favourites in the area.

Bookings

We are open every Friday and Saturday evening  for any size table and for that special lunch or dinner we  are very happy to open any other weekday for parties of  ten or more.
